"Telehealth is ideal for small and rural skilled nursing facilities"
Even when it's not possible to a have a physician or advanced practice clinician on-site, MPAC still has a solution to provide timely medical care at the earliest onset of a medical episode.
With MPAC's Telehealth Program, an MPAC physician and/or advanced practice clinician (NP or PA) can provide remote face-to-face video encounters to patients anywhere; including hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.
In addition to primary care providers, patients have access to providers of many specialties across the health care spectrum.
- In the best case scenarios, skilled nursing facilities pair MPAC's Telehealth Program with a part-time version of our SNF Program, to provide full-time clinical coverage to even the smallest and most rural facilities.
- Because most encounters are reimbursable, MPAC's Telehealth Program can be provided at little or no net cost to the facility.
The HIPAA compliant platform connects residents to MPAC providers at the
earliest onset of a medical episode.
